Barge logic. It operates on a different level than regular, real-world logic. In the real world you can kill some asshole and never let them get to you again. On the Barge you kill someone and next week you have to sit with them at the breakfast table and you're in a worse position than before. Killing someone here isn't a way to get power or control or strength back.



You're afraid of what it would mean if you didn't kill him. That's literally all you know how to do in order to deal with your problems. You're a badass assassin, I'll give you that, but you're also a one-trick pony. If killing someone isn't going to work for your logic, what the fuck are you going to do next?
